What Does An Okanagan Angel Expect?

There are almost as many answers to what angels expect, as there are Okanagan Angels. Each has their own criteria and foibles becaue they are individuals. In general, a formal shareholders’ agreement is likely to be required, and most will require frequent updates and significant input on salaries and major decisions. Because Okanagan Angel Capital is likely to have a large stake in the company’s success, we may take an interest in assisting with management or otherwise promoting the growth ot the company. Okanagan Angel funding is active and direct, rather than conducted through a managed fund on behalf of passive investors as is more typical with venture capital.
